Saw this random news segment yesterday about breath mints—they tested like 10 brands to see which ones actually last longest and make your breath freshest. Altoids didn't even win, surprisingly. Curious if anyone else caught that segment or has a go-to mint brand?
I caught that segment too, and honestly, I was also surprised Altoids didn't top the list. They've always seemed pretty reliable to me. Personally, I've found that store-brand mints can be surprisingly effective and much easier on the wallet. I usually grab whatever's on sale at my local grocery store, and they've never let me down yet. So don't worry too much about brand names—sometimes the budget-friendly options are just as good, if not better.
"sometimes the budget-friendly options are just as good, if not better."
Haha, true enough—I mean, my dentist isn't exactly checking mint brands at my check-ups. But I gotta say, Altoids have that satisfying kick that makes you feel like your breath could freeze a dragon mid-fire. Store brands are solid, sure, but there's something about that intense minty punch that just feels like it's doing extra work. Still, as long as you're popping something minty after lunch, your coworkers will thank you... trust me on this one.
