Been doing some research lately because I'm finally gonna bite the bullet and get veneers. But I'm kinda stuck between bonding and cementing methods. Bonding seems popular for being less invasive, but cementing supposedly lasts longer? I dunno, I keep seeing mixed opinions online. If anyone here's had either one done, I'd love to hear your experienceβ€”good, bad, whatever. Just trying to make sure I don't regret this later, you know?

Had veneers bonded about five years ago, and honestly, they've held up pretty well. I chose bonding mainly because I didn't want to shave down too much of my natural teeth. Cementing might last longer, sure, but remember it's also more invasiveβ€”once you go that route, there's no turning back. Have you talked to your dentist about your specific bite or teeth grinding habits? Those factors can really influence how long either method lasts...

Same here, went with bonding about 3 yrs ago for the exact reason. But lately I've noticed some staining around the edges... kinda worried they'll chip soon. Wondering if cementing would've been better long-term.
